I obtained my political science degree for the sole purpose of helping my community and uplifting others. I helped homeowners at risk of losing their homes during the financial crisis with legislation that would help them keep their homes. Working with unions to help pass initiatives that helped public employees in the largest county in the united states receive affordable health care. I currently advocate for African American parents in the public school system to ensure that their voices are heard and that they are aware of changes in policies that affect their children. My work has been recognized by the U.S. Congress, California State Senate, and California State Assembly for her efforts in public schools.
Through my experience, I have learned that the world needs more women willing to uplift and nurture others. These characteristics come naturally to women.

That's why I started K Hud Coaching, a public speaking service where women learn how to identify with their audience and create a substantial impact by speaking from an authentic place with skill.

Coaching women in industries such as the educational, medical, and entertainment fields have been one of her proudest and most fulling accomplishments.
